This is an interactive journal
It is designed for you to journal from Larisa’s experience, also known as “Artist-Inspired” journaling.
How it Works:
1. Pause at moments when the story resonates with you.
2. Pull out a notebook and begin journaling. Free write distraction free for as long as you can. Pause and Play at your leisure.
3. Towards the end of the story, there is a journaling prompt for you to reflect and answer.
4. Go to the last 20 seconds of this video for the journaling prompt.
“That’s where the song came from…Everything that I experienced… saying, ‘I know what it is to suffer and I know what it is to love, and at the end of the day, I’m so grateful for everything because there is love’ and you know, when we lose love, it’s always worth it because of the experiences we gain from it.”-Larisa Gosla
Larisa Gosla, singer, songwriter and sound healer, chose to live in her car with her guitar after a breakup. She relied on her community to hold space and mother earth to ground her, reminding her that even with so little, there is so much to be grateful for.
Three ways of Reflecting:
A) Write down what the artist said that you can relate to and start journaling.
B) Respond to the Journaling Prompt at the end of the interview.
C) Respond to the artist quote that we have chosen for each interview.
At the end of the day, what are you grateful for? Write down a gratitude list. Come up with at least 5 things you are grateful for.
