David Shark, actor and martial arts expert, lost his best friend, after more than a decade of being by his side on movie sets and on adventures, through the good times and the bad times. Shark wanted to give his best friend a proper burial while paying love forward by sheltering another furry friend.

“I got to give him a proper burial. I grabbed a shovel…when I took that step to the grave, it kind of hit me, seeing him laying there with a shirt over his head so the flies wouldn’t come, that um…that he wasn’t coming back. Teary-eyed but still working through the pain and the loss and the tears…the empty loneliness of not having my best friend again…but always having him.” -David Shark
