The Love Story behind Alternate Universe

Transform Heartbreak into a Love Story

The First Interactive Diary for the Broken hearted for Artists by Artists

Meet HOTT MT

HOTT MT, Hour of The Time Majesty 12, is an indie electro rock band comprised of artists, Ashi Dala and Spooki Tavi.

Ashi and Spooki discuss losing their home studio in DTLA due to gentrification. Resulting in imminent homelessness. Hence the birth of Alternate Universe

“Even though we didn’t really have firm ground to stand on, we were able to use this creation to get through the next day. That whole album (AU) is our trials through that. It’s a survival time capsule. Every song is an emotional state. If we weren’t doing that, I’m not sure what would’ve happened to us.” – Ashi

She then provides insight to their creative inspiration. One of which, The Never Ending Story.

“The depth is important because it is something that everybody goes through. It’s a thing that is very human, and to ignore it and to try and bypass it to make yourself the greatest you can be is very dangerous…”-Ashi Dala

Spooki provides his take on creating your own space:

“It can be as simple as just having a little corner in your room where you have a light and a book like the Neverending Story that brings you to where you can feel okay, and maybe use that as a jumping board for some new ideas and write some stuff.”
