Grace and Replace.
Grace is the power to NOT act when the shadow is triggered.
For Grace to work more effectively, the task of the Journal-Artist is to identify the curse associated with the shadow and to identify the anti-curse associated with the curse.
That way, when the shadow is triggered, the Journal-Artist is empowered to act on the anti-curse rather than on the curse.
